The Jacqueline R. The Jacqueline was named after the wife of Dr. William E. Smith—mother of seven children and a successful Arkansas restaurant owner/manager. Decorated in a wonderful pale blue and cream colors, the suite has original antique furniture, king size bed with sitting area, large private balcony, lake views from every window. It has a private bath with marble Jacuzzi tub, DSL High Speed Internet, cable TV/DVD and phone.
The Heritage Room The Heritage is pet-friendly, containing some highlights of each of the seven children. Dressed up with hardwood flooring, a queen bed, sitting area and private bath with marble Jacuzzi tub. The view from the second floor wall of windows is breathtaking, overlooking the patio and lake. The guestroom features DSL High Speed Internet, cable TV/DVD and phone.
The Van Lyell Room This guestroom is named for the first owner of the Hamilton House Inn who built the home which was completed in 1931. He was the owner/president of the Coca-Cola firm and served on the Oaklawn Racing Commission. The Van Lyell offers a wonderful Romeo and Juliet Balcony overlooking the lake, private bath with marble Jacuzzi tub, lake view, DSL High Speed Internet, cable TV/DVD and phone. The Van Lyell is decorated in hues of navy and cream with fine antiques and a king size bed.
Doc's Room ~ Master Suite This upper level suite takes up the whole east/west wing of the bed and breakfast. It includes a private living room with original tile flooring. Doc's Suite also features one of the most original glass tile baths with a wall etching of a ship in the glass along with a black marble Jacuzzi tub and separate body jet shower. This king size bed is truly fit for a king with four large posters with intricate carving and a rod iron canopy. It is a work of art, along with the matching bedroom suite all dressed in gilded gold and cream. Dr. William E. Smith was a Pearl Harbor survivor in Hawaii and was a central gunner on the B29 bombers. Out of thirteen planes in the squadron his plane, the "Thunderbolt", was the only one to return after 58 missions. Memorabilia of the B29, his air force jacket and memories of his 25 successful years in Dentistry shadow the suite.
Hamilton Room ~ Master Suite Located on the main entry level of the inn, the suite takes the whole east and west wing of the house. This suite includes a private living room, bedroom with king size bed, DSL High Speed Internet, cable TV and phone. This guestroom was designed to be handicap accessible as well as beautiful and is decorated with fine antiques and mauve, black and gold colors. The private bath features a Jacuzzi marble corner tub for two along with a private shower under the ELS system. The ELS system is a shower system and light, all in one and this is the only one of its kind at the moment. It is the latest in Chromotherapy or aka light therapy with water.
